That being said, Claude is an AWESOME VILLAIN. OH MY GOD. I think what makes him so fantastic is that, in those Saturday-morning-cartoon shows, the bad guys always have a scrap of humanity. And that little piece of them is the obstacle that holds them back from truly achieving their goals. They can take as many precautions as they want, be as destructive as possible, but in the end, there will always be that half-second hesitation before hitting the big red button of destruction that will be their downfall.
Claude doesn't have that problem. People say he's a flat character? Haha no. Just a demon to the core.
