Description (I'd love to put up a rhyme here, but I'm horrible at rhyming. However, feel free to suggest something!)

So, this is my first attempt on a OC-queen tapestry. Behold, Imago the Sorceress!

Childhood and teenage years:
- Her mother was Solaria the Monster Carver
- She was identified as a boy at birth, but since her early childhood, she identified herself as a girl
- Because of that, she tended to be more of an outsider and suffered from body dysphoria and depression
- Finally, her mother decided to create a spell to change her daughter's biological sex; from now on, she would be known as "Princess Imago"
- She inherited the wand at 14 and got really caught up in magical studies, which she found quite enjoyable
- Due to the spell her mother cast upon her, she had a delayed Mewberty when she was fifteen

Reign as Queen Imago:
- During her reign period as Queen Imago, monsters attempted to go to war against Mewni
- Shortly before one battle, the leader of the monsters mocked Queen Imago, saying "Mewmen must be real cowards, disguising as women during battle"; the wrath Queen Imago brought upon them was terrifying and would haunt the monsters even centuries later
- She earned her title "Imago the Sorceress" due to that incident; also, from now on, nobody would ever dare to call Queen Imago a man again
- Also, that incident made the monsters retreat, allowing her to build up Mewni again and even improve the life of the Mewmen
- From now on, her reign period was a period of peace and wealth
- She later married and had three kids, the oldest being Minerva the Crafter

That's all I have for her now.

(Honestly, I decided to create her because I hadn't seen any trans* Mewman Queen so far, so I wanted to change that. I hope i didn't fall into any tropes with her and that nobody feels offended. If you do, please tell me.)

Artistic comments:
- The red hair was actually a decision I made while scribbling the outlines for the hair (I used red lines for that). At first it was a darker cherry-red, but it didn't fit the color scheme of the whole picture, so I changed it. Brown eyes, because I really like brown eyes.
- Her cheekmarks are based on the Crest of Courage from Digimon. I asked a few friends about a symbol for bravery, strength and confidence and that's what popped up.
- Her color scheme is roughly based on the dawn in the background. At first, I wanted to give her a white dress, but it just seemed off to me, as well as giving her a purple (more sorceress-like) dress. I think the blue suits her quite well! Also, I gave her white stockings so people won't think she's naked underneith her dress.
- The size of her wand represents her confidence. The butterfly (which is the crystal) is a symbol for herself and becoming what she has been on the inside all along (like a caterpillar).
- I love how her facial expression turned out. She doesn't even bat an eye on the monsters in the corner, like "I've already slain hundreds of your kind this day, do you really think you can bring me down?".
- Hardest part of drawing this? The hands. It took my HOURS to even get one hand right, and the other just... didn't look nice, no matter what I tried. So I decided to hide her other arm behind her back. It's also basically saying "I can defeat you with one arm on my back".
- Her dress is based on dresses I saw on sorceresses (is that the plural?) when googling it to find a appropiate pose for her. I wanted it to be elegant and feminine, yet not girly or over-the-top feminine. At first I wanted to give her some armour as well (like shoulder plates and boots), but usually a sorceress wouldn't wear armor, because it would only slow her down.

Her mother (Solaria The Monster Carver) didn't have a problem with that; she was just worried because her daughter was suffering from being an outcast and being mocked for being different. She'd go full "mama bear-mode" on everybody who mocked and bullied her daughter, and was extremely supportive towards Imago. In the end, she created a spell to change Imago's body to a female one.

Her father was not that supportive at first, believing it was "a phase" and that "he'd grow out of that" (while also being worried what people would say and that they'd never accept Imago as their queen and eventually try to overthrow her). He and Solaria had a few fights about that, but in the end, Solaria always won (as I said, mama bear). He later made up his mind when he saw how happy Imago was with her biological sex matching her gender. In the end, he was really proud of his daughter.

Fun Fact: The first time he actually called her "my daughter" was when she was fifteen, after she successfully defended a village from monsters and came back to the castle. She was greeted by a cheering crowd, her father amongst them, cheering "That's my daughter! That's my girl!". Even though she usually didn't show any "weak" emotions in public, that comment made her cry a tear of joy.

I like to think that Imago and her husband had a "best buddy"-like relationship. They became friends during Imago's teenage years, he'd be one of the few people who could make her take a break from her studies and do some fun stuff with him. Also, they liked to play pranks on each other, even when they were adults already, meaning, sometimes servants would see the queen chasing her husband through the castle or vice versa (sometimes while still wearing pyjamas). While the public would always know Imago as an elegant, graceful and powerful queen, her husband would get to know her more playful and happy side.

She had a very good relationship with her daughter, always trying to give her the same support Solaria had shown towards her. Her daughter tried a lot to be like Imago, because society expected a lot from her, which would sometimes be downright overwhelming for the young princess (who was not as interested in creating powerful spells as her mother, but prefered doing tasks with her own hands, like art, especially pottery). Despite their interests being quite different, Imago would always encourage her to go her own way and even participate in her daughter's hobbies. Her daughter had one strict rule about that: No magic.

Fun Fact: Imago broke that rule once (while her daughter wasn't looking), because she got frustrated about the potter's wheel turning too slowly. However, the spell went sideways and the wheel started turning so fast the clay splashed on Imago's clothes and in her hair. At first, her daughter wanted to scold her, but when she saw her mother covered in clay, she burst out in laughter and couldn't stop laughing for nearly half an hour. That was when her daughter was thirteen, shortly before turning fourteen and inheriting the wand.

How did the magic high commision and glossaryck treat her

The Magic High Commission was quite sceptical at first, not of her as a person, but of her magical abilities, since this was indeed an unusual way of inheriting the want. But she proved herself to them (actually, they were quite amazed by her powers) and was accepted as an equal member. I think the fact that she was a transwoman wasn't an issue to them, since I don't believe they had a strict view on gender and gender roles.

Glossaryck, while accepting Imago as a student, tended to belittle her, question her abilities and be quite a jerk sometimes. When Solaria called him out on that, he'd explain that he has seen that challenging her and doubting her would not discourage her, but rather make her give her absolute best and push her limits. However, he never deliberately misgendered her or anything (pretty sure Solaria would've ripped out his throat then).

Btw, I wanted to thank you for your questions, they kinda inspired me to draw the tapestry of Imago's daughter, whom I named Minerva the Crafter.
