Here's my longest carving from this year, I only started doing this style of pumpkins last year and wanted to do something more so I decided to do a carving all the way round... half way round I thought I'd maybe gone insane for choosing to do it but I'm so glad with how it turned out ^_^To see all my pumpkins from this year go here: [link]

I used a regular kitchen knife for taking the top off and cut out the moon shape, various spoons to hollow it out and then I used an artists scalpel to carefully take the skin off the rest ^_^

Thanks ^_^ me too. I actually designed a cake for my birthday with nightmare before christmas stuff but didn't have enough time to do it... plus it was a topsy turvy style cake and there so wouldn't have been enough people to eat it. Maybe I'll have a big party some year and get to do it.
