8'02" - 442.0 lbs.
I never really was into bug pokemon. They grow fast, but I always had the feeling that they become weak as soon as the other pokemon of my team also reach their final evolutions. In addition to this I usually don't like the bugs' designs. I don't dislike them, but there are many other monsters I like better. But Scolipede is different to me. The color scheme and the general look is really awesome to me. And except for the tail and the horns there was not very much I had to 'translate' into a more realistic look, I just added many little pieces of shellto its basic armour.
I hope you like this design of Scolipede, please let me know what you would have imagined

Wow, that looks so cool, the details are amazing. I like the watercolour vibe the colouring style gives me. Also, it actually looks rather cute in a way.

I'm glad you like it! Well, I'd not have considered "cute" a fitting adjective for it, but now that you mention it, the head looks a bit like that of a doe or a rodent.

It's understandable how you translated the horns on its head to bear the same zigzag shape as the in-game model. They look awesome, despite my next statement: on an actual centipede, the antennae should be smoothed back into a slender, threadlike appearance.
Overall, though, I love your rendition of my favorite bug-type Pokemon.

Yes, the horn definitely were something I've been thinking about for a long time. It was hard to decide whether to stick with the realistic bug or to get a little closer to the pokemon... which includes also a change of 'material' since softer (instead of bony) zigzag horns would look weird.

Lovely realism! And I have to say, I feel the same way about most bug pokemon. But this guy wound up being a permanent member of my team in Black.
