Quite a good shot actually. They are very shy and usually hide up in their tree from the visitors (or perhaps I scare them off )

Hmm... well, we didn't get much chance either... He ran around just a few minutes, then indeed climbed it's tree and disappeared in the tree-hut... Most of the shots I made from him were blurred or underlighted ... so I was happy with this one indeed...

So beautiful. Colors so rich and lively. Needless to say the panda is beautiful. This is actually the first time I have ever seen a red panda. Thank you for sharing.

I am happy you like it! Actually, this was the only shot of several I took that was reasonable, although not fully sharp... It was late in the afternoon, the light was scarce, the animal was moving fast, and I was tired, lol... add it up, and that's what you get, a load of unsharp pics... But I was delighted that this one at least came out quite nicely... Indeed, they are beautiful animals!

Very beautiful indeed. I just wanted to reach out and try to pet it. But, I couldn't. It was a picture that looked so real.
