With a new layer I use a normal brush with that color and put it on screen or soft light (i don't remember).

Okay thanks. Well i can't make it anyway, I kept watching the tutorial but it keeps going wrong in my Gimp editor and psd color wont work in it. I asked the main owner if she could make it for me, just the background with no picture as i want to put my own picture on, but she hasnt replied back to me yet. Id give her credit for it too. Just it wont seem to go right in my Gimp and my laptop refusing to let me have photoshop.

Yeah it just refuses to open. Iv'e also been trying to do the texture for a whole week now. I'm still waiting for krypt to message back it been about 5 days now since i posted i think.
