Description
These are all bands that either have or had at one point in time, a female lead. Generally speaking, they are all metal bands, however, some hard rock and a couple of experimental avant-garde metal bands from Japan have been also included.
FULL SIZE please so you can see all the bands (I can't believe there are 153 of them!)
This is not a complete list nor should it be considered as all the female-led metal bands that I listen to.

A lot of the bands/artists I listen to are in this mural. But no Dawn of Destiny? They are a bit similar to Magica as they also do female fronted melodic power metal.

Like with all my murals or my periodic table of metal, you can be sure it doesn't represent all the bands that I listen to.

I am so happy that you got some of the more obscure bands in here. I love Madder Mortem and Octavia Sperati, but they always seem to get left out of the discussion.

By the time I was told about Autumn, there was nowhere to put it. BUT I do have it on one of my favorite band murals.
Inkubus Sukkubus was recommended to me after I listened to gothic metal on Pandora so I figured I'd give them a run.
And I love Octavia Sperati and Madder Mortem.

I'm a little sad that Silje left Octavia for the Gathering, because the band improved so much from the first to second album and could only get better... as for Madder Mortem, I'm excited to see what sort of mindblowing weirdness they release on their next album. :3

You did a really good job fitting all the logos in! People don't actually realize how difficult this is until they try it themselves. I actually tried compiling something up for work with all our clients...it's really difficult to make it look this nice. Great job! The only points I would have is that it looked like you stretched some of the logos and warped them a bit to get them to fit properly. But, it's only noticeable if you look closely. ^_^

Most, if not all the logos were resized, but I don't recall actually stretching any. I used Paint and would find a logo from the net and put it on, checking for sizing. Other than that, nothing was really changed.
Thank you for your critique and you'd be correct that these things were not easy to make. I spent between six and ten hours on each of these. "My Favorite Bands III" actually took ten hours because I was looking for bands to fill these up with.

Apocalyptica has guest vocalists and no actual female LEAD.
I was debating whether to put Flyleaf up or not as they're about as hard rock as Cherri Bomb.
As for the rest of them, keep in mind, I only had limited room and put a bunch of them up.

Here's some good news for you, if you want to call it that. Actually, doing a little research, I found out that it was the violinist, not the singer who was female in the band Battlelore. Since this is not acceptable, I swapped it out. I couldn't fit the Autumn logo where it used to be, but Omega Lithium fit nicely. By the time you read this, the change should be made.
I'm pretty sure that's the last change I'll have to make as I know most of those bands by heart, but now you know you did help me out a little bit.

I'm glad you like it. I was actually motivated to make this after one guy complained that I would fap over "any band fronted by a pair of tits", so I did this to show him off.
the ironic part was that I only knew about one-half of these bands prior to making the mural. I ended up doing tons of research for it.

Kylesa was recently added as a replacement. LaCrimosa has both a male and female "lead". So technically it was correct but just to be that much more sure, I put them in their place.

The one band I'm pretty sure isn't really metal on that list is Cherri Bomb. They're more hard rock. But they're also like 15 years old and for their age, they do a damn good job.
Let me give you a little history lesson on this mural and why I chose to make it. I am a somewhat unpopular member of a bunch of facebook message boards, for one main reason. I tend to tell it like it is. 80-90% of the time, they put up this "BR00TAL" death metal and I got shit because I actually like several bands with a female lead. One guy even suggested I get banned because I would "Fap over anything fronted by a pair of tits".
Well, that's uncalled for. I'm actually friends with several of these bands (Triosphere, Benedictum, Seven Kingdoms, etc.) and I thought "Bullshit". So part of this was to piss this guy off by doing a mural of bands with female leads. The other part was because I thought it'd be fun to do after doing two murals of favorite bands.
