Gorgeous. This has a very organic feel to it. It feels alive. I can almost see those inner tentacles swaying about and the centre pulsing. I love all your work in black and white but have you ever considered colouring some of them? Or even work with someone else as a collaboration? I can imagine this in shades of red

Thanks Jim. I haven't found myself yet ready to collaborate. When I draw it is usually something of a meditation - or at least an escape - and I'm not sure the expectation that would come with a collaboration is the right thing for me. My daily life is one bound in expectations. As to colour, every now and again I consider it, but haven't yet taken the step in the same way you did a little while back now.

I'm still experimenting with colour.. I like adding rainbow colours.. they really do transform my work.. and working with has been a joy. She has done wonderful things to my work. I still love my b&w drawings though.

Thanks. Who can be precise? Maybe 15-20 hours over a couple of weeks, but maybe more.

Nice one Steve! After Mandala-Jim you're the second person I see who's using those Copic multiliners. It looks awesome! Makes me curious to try em too. I guess I'll have to add them on my Christmas list

Thanks Lou. The Copics are definitely worth experimenting with. They're good in terms of light fastness.
