Alright. This is a redo of one of my older strips; namely, I colored it. You can tell it's older because of the style; the lineart is more thick and clumsy as I was working on mastering my style. I still kinda like it.Which do you think is better, old version or new version?

Well, I haven't seen the old one, but this one is cool. It made me laugh.

The humor is dead on and great...as usual, but I think the execution is a bit off. What I mean is from second to third panel, it took me a brief moment to notice what happened. At first glance I thought the baddie just put down his chainsaw and stikman didn't know what to do.
That may just be me, but in most cases you want to try and get the point across with no confusion/questions (especially since how straight forward and clever your stuff is).
A solution to this particular one would be to at least put a bit of blood on the axe...if not, make tiny stick/arm stumps...maybe with blood too...and/or on the ends of the ones on the ground...whatever, you get the idea.
That'll get the point across instantly.
The color to your strips add that extra pop and weight to it which contrasts and compliments the line work. Very enjoyable!

Hmmm...I totally see what you're saying, and I agree. I usually like comic strips that make you look twice and think about it, but they transition here IS a bit confusing, so I agree with you whole-heartedly. I try to avoid blood in my comics, though, so maybe I'd draw some nubs or something where his arms used to be.

Maybe if the kids in horror movies had common sense they wouldn't go towards the creepy places where the murderer is OBVIOUSLY waiting for them.
Also a kick to the 'nads instead of a scream to the face is better.

I know, people in horror films have no sense. If there were no stupid people, there would be no smart horror films. Well, maybe not, I don't know, but it sure helps you to survive longer if you are better than all the other idiots and have an IQ higher than paint.
