the whole "vanilla" label has always bothered me cause like in life labels are usually wrong. see alan -as far as we know- has always sexually been into bdsm so his sex life isΒ thenΒ "vanilla" cause that's his normΒ so when he had "vanilla" sex with sarah he actually was having "chocolate" see ones personΒ "vanilla" is anothers "chocolate"Β and vice versa thus problems with labels.

I get what you're saying but I, personally, disagree. The whole idea is that vanilla is a universally basic flavor after all. It's not about it being one person's norm; it's about it being society's norm. So it's not like in the past he had his own personal vanilla and now he's trying chocolate... It's just that he always had chocolate before and now he's trying good-ol' classic vanilla. At least in my opinion.

Hey! I just found out about Sunstone through Humblebundle, got the first 3 from there. Now I started reading the remaining stuff here, and I gotta say that I really love your work! And I hate you. I just got over my Dresden Files addiction, now I am going to be addicted to this. And Please oh Please, tell me that Chapter 5 is'nt the last chapter in our Lisa and Ally journey. I love them both too much. While the idea of a Alan and Ally in Mercy sounds awesome, I still hope we will see more of Lisa & Ally.
Anyways, I really love this and hope you continue writing and drawing it.
PS: Anyone know any cute F/F stories (Books, comics, anything really) to occupy myself with while waiting for more Sunstone?

Oh man, your characters and stories come across as so human and relatable. You manage to mesh friendship, resentment, understanding and conflict resolution all in a very real and believable way. I think it's the expressions and realistic conversations, which are a blast to read!Β
When I'm less of a starving artist myself, I really hope I can collect the books properly. I have the first one and it's gorgeous, so here's hoping for more!

Alan is shaping up to be one of my favourite characters in this series because of stuff like this: most of the time he's joking on and taking things light-heartedly, but he knows when to be serious, and then this shows a whole other side to him that you can't help but relate to and appreciate.
