The Evil Gnome who lives in the caves of Mt. Shade
Where his plots of mischief and evil are laid
He wrings his gnarled hands
Shadows come soon and the Sunshine must fade

He waits in the eerie glow of a twisted moonlight
With naught but his hat and a madman’s delight
Thoughts of murder fill his mind
In the dark, In the strange, in the world of the night

So hear this brave traveler who believes naught of me
It won’t matter much to the Gnome if you try and flee
He is sure to catch you and when you scream
On Mt. Shade no one shall here you, but the Night and the Trees
