Description Blender + Indigo. Straight render, no post-pro. I'm getting much more comfortable with all of this...

Hi,
Good work. I like the definition of the top counter.
I have pin it here!

Without postpro? It's so skilled to archieve the result but really not any postpro? I think, even tonemaping in renderer itself is postwork somehow... but it's not problem at all. This's nicee~

Finally somebody has putted a proper render.I am sick of all thouse unfinished work and nudity . well done with your project i would just change the look of the cabinets. They just look to simple and too imposible to open but over all it's preatty good design

Thanks! The cabinets and things were specified by the client to be very minimalistic...

You have some great project's in your gallery. It's just a shame that the most people in deviantArt are interested in nudity and not art what software are you using?

Blender + Indigo mostly, Vray as well. Photoshop and Illustrator for compositing/2d stuff.

Blender, well you are really good at it.I was never introduced to blender so i started from 3ds max then evolved into Maya.I think i never used Blender because of the its use in studios

You should give it a poke. I never got the chance to use/buy 3ds MAX or Maya so I started learning 3d with Blender because it was free. Since those times it has evolved QUITE nicely...

Well my uncle uses Autocad and max for hes job so that's where i firstly saw it.3 years ago he bought me a present-original Maya from USA.First my move was to Install it than i opened it,looked at it for a minute and turned it off i just couldnt figure out everything at once so i gave 2 years of my life figuring everything out.

That's lookin good man, how did you achieve that level of "grading" without any post?
Maybe you should give the camera-angle some thought, as it is now it's hard to figure out where you intended the focus to be?

StompinTom In reply to nickick [2010-05-20 15:39:53 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! The grading is a combination of white balance, camera tonemapping and tweaked light layers. This was originally a square/almost portrait shot that focused on the perspective lines of the counter and island, but I widened it to keep the proportions consistent with the other angles that are on their way
