Had alot of fun doing this picture. A composition of Conan.Background-Waterpaint,
Outfit, weapons & hair-Textas,
Skin tones-Copic markers,
A3 Paper.
I have dedicated this picture to a dear friend,

I think this is a strong image - by crom I like it!
The background works well against the skin tones - good work with the copic markers.
There's just a small part of your painting where the background looks like it wraps around the left sword hand.
The background behind the right axe hand is convincing and I think that's the treatment needed. Hope I made sense.

This piece is awesome, I like how you did the colors and the contrast between the muted background with the foreground subject nicely colored in rich earthy colors. Awesome work!

Thank you very much. Trying to get the hang of those copic markers(not bad them), & practicing how to thin out water colours for a lighter effect(background structure) to use black, then thinning it down to see just how light I can go with it!

To be honest, I STILL havn't seen those classic Conan movies. However, I am a pretty big fan of the original stories by Robert E. Howard. So I hope to see the movie someday ^^

I used to have alot of those comics years ago, but when I was flatemating with people, some Bastard stole them from me along with a shitload of Marvel & DC comics.
But yeah dude Arnie as Conan was pretty cool ( the size of that mother & his face structure, who better to play it).

The only guy who I think could match him is Ralf Moeller from Gladiator(the Germanian) & Pathfinder(the guy who loses an eye). One, the accent & two, his size!
