He went from the Hundred-Acre Wood to Champion in just a couple days
I considered using the basic forms of the first three teammates, but the stat boosts for evolving them were too much to pass up (especially defense).
Overall, it was a fun trial. Gyms were pretty easy. The Elite Four went smoothly with no fainting (using healing after each battle), and the Champion was primarily beaten with Pooh (only fitting), including delivering the final blow (as shown above).

True, but in the larger scheme of things, they show up much less often than the others. About the only substitution I might have done was Kangaskhan for Noctowl...but then I would have lost my Flyer

I'm ashamed of the fact that it took me so long to figure out what this was. Even after I read the description -.- That aside, this is awesome. It should be some kind of challenge.

The Pooh Gang was fun, even if a lot of people say I should have used Teddiursa/Ursaring for Pooh. Too many Normal types, plus I needed someone with Surf. I originally had Piglet as Tepig (never to evolve) and Eeyore as Deerling, but decided that two-legged Grumpig and long(er)-eared Numel/Cammerupt fit better, while still offering type variety. It made a good team overall, especially on Dragons, but I wouldn't recommend it for a Nuzlocke run. Ace Trainers were TOUGH
I love making TV and movie-themed teams. I tried a TMNT team once, but it was actually a bit too easy (Squirtle, Turtwig, Torcoal, Tirtouga [and evolutions], Mienshao & Bisharp). Tried a MLP team, but wasn't totally happy with it. One I was really happy with was based off of one of my favorite book series, Tamora Pierce's Terrier, where she has a black cat, bloodhound, and pidgeon, so I used Purloin, Herdier, and Pidove only. Should try Nuzlocke-ing that sometime...
I'm thinking of trying something like Oliver & Company (1 cat, 5 dogs), Bambi (deer, bunny, skunk, owl), A Bug's Life (ant, spider, mantis, catepilar, ladybug, moth), Jungle Book (panther, bear, snake, tiger, elephant, vulture), Lion King (lion, meerkat, boar, hyena/dog, bird, monkey), or maybe Robin Hood or Fox and the Hound... So many choices! Really, it falls down to how much fun you can make the challenge for yourself, how well and/or if the team works, and if you've got the patience to work through it if/when you hit a wall.

And if you did Lion King, I suggest you use Chatot for Zazu.

Unfortunately, there are NO bug types who can Surf, so I guess I'll just missing a few trainers and hidden items. Le sigh.

Hmmm... I'm enjoying this idea! And as sad as it is to leave Heimlich out, it's kinda needed. Though you may have been able to use a Scolipede as a "caterpillar", even though it's colors are all wrong, lol!
I like the choices as well. Though a shiny Venomoth might have been more accurate in color for Gypsy, Volcarona still has the beautiful blue she has, it's just on it's body and not the wings.
I think I would have picked Leavany for Manny though. Personally, I like it more, and it looks more like the way they characterize/draw him in the movie.
But shoot. That could be a problem...

Hm... that would give me more variety (instead of having 2 bug/flying), and I've never used Leavany before... I've only beaten the 2nd gym, so I wouldn't be too adverse to changing. He would have done nothing against a Poison gym anyway
For Gypsy I considered Venomoth, Dustox, Masquerain, and Mothim, but I decided I *really* needed something that could use Fly, which was sadly only Volcarona (despite it not being a flying type).
I think I'd definitely use Scolipede if I made a James and the Giant Peach team

Aaany way... I think Volcarona is the only one that has close enough colors/shape other than a shiny Venomoth, so it's all good.
And ooo! That could be fun!... if you could find the Pokemon to fin the characters...
Although it is a cricket, Kricketune is known for playing its antenna if I'm not mistaken... but finding a worm... meh. You may have to wait for the next gen of games and hope there's one in there.

i didnt even realize what you did with what pokemon and the names till i read hundred acre wood and realized thats not in pokem0n so took a look at the image again and saw names and realized thats the name of where pooh is
