Wow. I was reading some of the comments on the front page. Some people just can't leave things alone can they?
'Their personalities clash'
'It's just a T.V. show.'
'Isn't BB in love with Terra.'
There was even a kid SUPPORTING Terra, the giant lump of rock.
Then there were all of these explanations ranging from comic book to the series that aired most recently.
I was wondering to myself, and now to you, why people would waste their time to give you crap about a cannon couple.
I was waiting to see 'this is amazing' or 'OMG!!! THE BEST BB/RAE EVER!' maybe even 'It's so beautiful I want to cry'.
When reading the comments I was expecting to see people compliment this stunning drawing and how unbelievable it is that you've managed to incorporate so many elements and emotions with ease and effort. I was expecting to read praise of your art, something that this drawing deserves tenfold, but all I found were snide and lifeless people critiquing something that needs no critiquing. I apologize for the front page people's comments. You deserve better.
And that isn't an opinion. That's a fact.

holy shit, that was bloody brilliant.
i wasn't expecting such a blushful comment after having posted this piece for so long. truthfully i never saw the comments as negative or the like, just the typical fandom replies. But i really appreciate you taking you rtime to write such a heartfelt message, it made my day in more ways than i think i can express with words, and it especially made me feel better on how its the #1 faved piece in my gallery considering my gallery isnt made of pure fanart.

No doubt, most artists do, but when pairings are involved, they are bound to attract haters and lovers alike. So when haters respond hatefully towards the pair, lovers respond back in kind, causing a shipping war. It's not a kind thing, but it is fact that opinions drive many people, even though they cause fights and other sorts of trouble, as well. Hell, the only reason I responded to the hater on the first page and again with a detailed explanation a few pages back was because if you hate the pairing, then why in the hell would you be looking at a picture supporting the pairing you hate? That's idiotic and is inviting trouble.

Comic Terra: Crazy and demented whore-ish bi-zitch who used the Titans & Slade (the latter of which she had willing underage sex with) to get her way. In the end, her raw hatred of all who opposed her consumed her to the point that her powers triggered a rockslide that end up crushing her. However, that was not the end of Terra, as she--thanks to a Clockwork-like being called Time Trapper--ended up being revived by being transported from her time in the past to the then-present. Despite her own amnesia as a result of the time-travel, this "Terra II" was the original, and thusly, Beast Boy wanted nothing to do with this now-reformed geomancer, as all she did was bring back painful memories of the past. The now seemingly angsty Beast Boy would end up having a relationship with a returning Raven (as seen here: [link] )--with whom he now shared a bond with--whereas finally, "Terra II" would end up meeting her fate at the vengeful hands of a insane Black Adam, who blamed all young heroes for his troubles (as seen here: [link] ).
TV Terra: Like her comic counterpart, TV Terra was a betrayer--breaking poor Beast Boy's heart & angering Raven (who--despite clashing ala her and Terra's comic versions--shared a similarity with the earth mover in terms of issues regarding appearance, assurance, control, and trust)--and was "killed" (this time, due to the demographic and rating of the TV series, she was turned to stone), only to be revived (as per the series finale). Unlike her comic counterpart though, TV Terra's feeling for this version of Beast Boy seemed genuine, not to mention that TV Terra appeared weak-willed enough to have her easy-to-manipulate mind corrupted by Slade (who would use Terra for his own ends and who would heavily influence Terra's choices, simply because Terra herself seemed utterly incapable of maing solid decisions on her own, due to her life expperiences). On top of this--and again, unlike her comic counterpart--when revived, TV Terra seemed to still recall her past actions (although she appeared to be repressing the memories, if not for her own sake of keeping the new life she lead to give herself closure, but also to inform still lovestruck Beast Boy that times--and people--must change in order for life to continue on). And just like the comics that inspired the show, the comics based upon the show--Titans GO!--featured an issue that saw Raven (or at least her lavender-cloaked emoticlone that symbolized affection) flirting and possibly getting with Beast Boy (who--given TV Raven's personality--appeared somewhat shocked at the actions of his friend, even though he himself had earlier in the series' timeline seemingly made it his mission to get Raven involved and to have her open up every once and a while)-- [link] --to the chagrin of fans of other pairs.

They look a lot more mature than the TV versions, and cooler than the comic versions. Nice.
My favoirte parts are BB's elbow and the pillows. The shading on those parts is really good - reflected light is so often ignored, but you included them

wow! it's wonderfuly done and down right sexy. it's awesome and you did a great job on it! it helps though that i adore that couple. not saying that the piture needs to be helped in any way to be liked and complimented on because it looks fantastic(sp?) but just letting you know that you do indeed get an extra boost in appeal simply because that's my favorite couple.
