Description
A tiny moth warrior! I was overcome with the desire to make a lineless illustration again, and it felt like coming home. This is definitely the effect I am striving for in my pictures, with the focus on shape and colour. I still love inks, don't get me wrong! But for finished pieces, the crispness of lineless work is something I can't replace. It unfortunately can take a while to do which makes it a difficult technique to use in comics, but I've recently reached the conclusion that I only really want to work on comic projects where I can afford to go at a gentle pace anyway. I owe it to myself to make something I enjoy the process of making! And for me that only comes if I can spend time and research, and achieve the effect I want.
