Tess needs more fan art. Seriously, she had a major part of the story yet very little art. Did people not like her?
Edgar has a lot of art though, despite only showing up for 3 or 4 pages. I'm not saying that's overboard, I mean, he was pretty awesome, but most of that art just has him being gay with Johnny. Despite the fact he's dead and Johnny hates sex. How the f*** does that work?
Anywho, it's one A.M. here and I'm starting to feel like Jhonen what with all the late night art-making. What makes it worse is my lovely veiw of the stars outside from my window. You can see Orion. I think I'm starting to ramble.

yes,i agree.Tess has very little fan art.She is such a good,easy-to-relate-to-character.She was also ,like, the 2nd female main character.I just don't get it.

Yes, most people do seem to like her, which makes it even more puzzling to me. Perhaps they just don't know what to do with her. I dunno.

hmm...perhaps some people have a rare illness to where if they ever draw Tess's hair their liver will explode and then turn into candy,thus they don't draw her in fear of this happening...or maybe they just find her hard to draw,which is odd...unlike the liver illness i just listed above,because that is totally,utterly,and completely possible.

I feel most fan girls who have crushes on johnny and other male characters, hate the females with a passion, even more so since Devi was with johnny for a while. Also, even without a fan girls crush, it is human nature for some females to have jealousy over other females.

Sadly, that's very true. And since fandoms, at least the parts of them that draw fan art and write fanfiction, are mostly girls they'll likely never get much love. A shame really.

*shrug* I suppose it's a case of the Yaoi-fangirls, where logic does not but rarely dictate. Not everyone is gay, and shipping something just cuz it's slash is silly.

I try to ignore it for the most part, as an argument would only waste my time, but between Devi and Rev. Meat saying he had a girl before going crazy...That just doesn't scream homosexual to me.
And I hate it when they try to play the bisexual card; I have known quite a few gay and lesbian people, but only one bisexual. It's not as common as they seem to think. But whatever, I'm not going to lose sleep over it.

Maybe, it's just that I've looked up art for a lot of fandoms and it seems like all my favorite characters are suddenly bisexual. Though nothing's ever made me physically nauseous, except for a weird hentai pic that I never want to see again.

I usually try to stick to pairings that match the character's,um,preference.That's just me,I actually don't mind the gay or bisexual relationships that much.The bothersome thing is they usually don't follow the character's personality and instead of any real emotion the ones I stumble upon are usually sexual.That's what really gets me.That and incest and/or pedophilia.Sorry,I just had to tell someone.
