I really wanted this piece to pop out, so I decided to make the background really colorful with graffiti, to give the impression of depth from the tagger.

Wow, only 16 favs? I think this is definitely amazing and hard work. The main character is very unique, and somehow doesn't look out of place or unprofessional, standing dead center on the artwork. I almost love the detail and texturing. Good job~

Yeah, I was kinda scared to submit this piece; I still feel I need waaaaaay more practice... I just made up the background as a last minute decision. I dunno if you saw the comment I wrote for =Akarinsei but I originally was gonna leave the back white. I'm glad I didn't lol I seriously tried my best to make things flow in this one, and I'm glad you like it

Hey thanks, yeah, funny story actually... I was originally not going to have a background. The tagger was the only thing I was gonna do for this piece. It's funny because it took me longer to finish the dude up front rather than the stuff in the back!

hey thanks, yeah it took me like 16 to 18 hours, i kept getting side tracked, so it took me a while to finish! heh im hoping to post more later like this, i think i put too much paint on the guys jacket haha, hows the graff coming along?
