I love when a language has it's own word rather then using an English word like for "gentleman"
Then we have "gentilhomme" in France (that existed a long time before the English word) "hidalgo" in Spain, "ehrenmann" in Germany, "gentiluomo" in Italy and so on... But Sadly people are tending to use the English term more and more because according to their sayings it would sound more stylish *sob*

That's the point! Italian mass media tend to spread a lot of English terms instead of their native counterpart and you don't know how many times my parents ask me the meaning of English words they heard or read and this is often ridiculous because of their mispronunciation. x'D
