This deviation is officially my 1000th deviation!Though I think journals count as deviations? But oh well whatever my profile says 1000 now lmfao so that's good enough for me.
I was going to maybe draw a picture and I even filled out a really shitty OC meme as another possibility but then decided to just do this instead.
Half-assin it even at 1000 hallelujah.
But idk I kinda like it like... every single one of those drawings (except a couple) are in my gallery still and some of them on here are aaaalmost when I first joined dA so it's kind of a cool little journey of my art improvement in the six years I've been here and you get to see how how my main three boys have evolved and changed ever since I created them. (the years next to their names are an approximate guess as to when they were created).
The very first drawing on Seir's little block is actually the very very first drawing I ever did of him whenever I was creating him so it's pretty nostalgic to look at lol. Back when he was "Seiryoku Makoto" and completely different than he is now.
The first of Damien's isn't the first I ever did of him because I have no idea where that is now (he looked the same except he had like a big emo fringe instead of straight bangs) but the one there is probably the second I've done.
I have no idea where or what Josh's first drawing was hahaha.
I think Josh's progression is my favorite?
Also just a side note I laughed at- everyone's hair gets progressively shorter whereas Damien's gets progressively longer.
Emotions.

6 years is quite a while like wow lol I didn't do digital art for a while, I'm not sure if I even have anything from that long ago xD

Yeah I first used a tablet innnn late 2009? So five years ago lol and I had it for a while and then it broke and I went back to traditional art and mouse coloring /weeps and then got my next tablet in 2012 and have had one since lol
I also had a lot of time where I had no job or school and would do nothing but draw all day every day, so man I improved fast just because of how frequently I practiced lmfao
Still got some things I know I need to work on though but I'm pretty happy with my art right now!

Oh really? Wow I just got my first in like February last year... I don't mind traditional but all I really want to do is improve on digital so the most I do traditionally is sketch typically xD I do colored pencil stuff from time to time though ;w;
Oh yeah XD I'm usually least busy over the summer so I mean that's typically when I improve the most, if you have a lot of time with no school or a job I can bet you'll get a lot done lol
I don't have access to SAI or photoshop so I'm just kinda over here GIMPin' away and if you've ever used gimp you can probably imagine about how that feels |D;

Yeah Iiiii am not so good at traditional now lol. I'm so used to the way digital feels and like.. with traditional my hand gets in the way it's so dumb LOL
I was never that good at coloring traditionally either. So hard to make it look nice x'D
And oh gosh gimp. I never used it much but from the couple of times I've had to mess with it like eugh lol
I used to have a download for Photoshop but I can't find it again ;3;
You can usually find some kind of like versions of SAI online too. I had one before the actual one I have now lol.
Actually I think I still have it now on my flash drive... I'll see if I can send it to you somehow haha
It's not the 100% full version but you get most of the brushes and such. At least the important ones lol.
