Axel was taught throughout his childhood that he should never be afraid to stand up and fight for what was right. This was thought to be the primary factor to his habit of vigilantism during his adolescent years. One such incident of his vigilantism gone too far occurred while he was 15. A school bully was alleged to have harassed and intimidated younger students for a lengthy period of time. Axel thought nothing of it at the time until he saw that exact same bully pushing around a significantly younger kid just before the end of lunchtime. Axel couldn't do anything about it at the time as the school bell signified the end of lunch and he had to go to his next class. It was after school that Axel got his revenge. As the bully was about to race past him on his bike, Axel knocked the bully off his bike and began to physically assault him in front of onlookers and students walking home, obviously not prepared for what was about to happen. This was the last major event of vigilantism Axel would have for almost three decades.
