Gungan's have a really bad reputation based solely on one member of their species (Jar Jar Binks) and I love trying to break that bundering Gungan stereotype.This is a rough, no-nonsense Gungan Pirate/Smuggler.

(I have to admit, I never shared the hatred for the Gungans or for Jar Jar Binks [although I can understand that people are really annoyed be him])

Real Gungans are actually pretty badass, and the Gungans have a fairly interesting culture. They also get the short end of the stick a lot of the time. Even Jar Jar ended up pretty interesting in the Expanded Universe.

I actually kinda like Gungans as well cause of Captain Tarpals in episode 1 but i doubt anyone cared to try and remember who this guy was cause of the huge hatred for everything about Episode 1 and Jar Jar and i agree on the hatred for Jar Jar but i think the rest of the Gungans were different from him and not all talked like him

Personally, the Gungans have one of my favorite designs. The only think I don't like are their feet......
I was not a huge fan of Jar Jar, but I actually really liked Roos Tarpals.

The only time I've played SW rpg, I made a gungan. Funny thing, he was the most intelligent and charismatic member of the party. Good to see more people who enjoy the race, despite Jar Jar.

Again, another picture I saw over at SWAG and I based an RPG character off of. My Gungan was a hard bitten, hard drinking gunfighter that took no $#!& for his accent. He was cool, but I have never actually gotten to play him.

I so agree with you. So what Jar Jar is clumsy and silly? It's no reason to hate the character. And it's definately no reason to hate the whole Gungan race. I think Gungans have great potential for art and fan-fic, as you skillfuly demonstrate in your work. Great job!
