Nice work as per usual, StugMeister (don't know if you'd remember, but I'm over on Warseer, and I've commented on your thread there a number of times). The one problem that I have with this one is that the base of the collar isn't defined too well (mostly because the black line on the right side reaches down too far). Another issue I have is all that Mk. 7/8 armour (looks a little too "new", even with the old studded Mk. 5/6 pauldron), although I'm personally a big supporter of "canonical" CSM armour. Great work - I'll make sure to keep checking here, and on your Warseer thread.

It depends, if the marine, is from one of the traitor legions then yes, I agree with the armour type discrepency. However I dont think it's something to overide artistic license.

More evidence of the light source would really make this painting stand out. Still, I really like it since I'm a big fan of the Chaos Marines!

Nice. I like the contradictory images: bloodthirsty warrior and a nice, peaceful enviroment. That is what you get when you have an army full of psychos I guess.
