I have to ask. How do you do it? What programs do you use? What techniques? I must know! Awesome stuff...

for this image, I used Adobe Illustrator for the textures, Poser 8 for the set up and final render, Vue 6 for the sky background, and Adobe PhotoShop for final touches. I used a purchased pose from daz3d (which I dont mind telling you, because I'm the one that made the product in the first place) Victoria 4 base model from Daz3d. [link]
As far as Techniques, pretty much all my own. I try to do as little post work as possible, but I did want a lens flare, so I added that in photoshop when I was done.
The hardest part was getting the lighting just right, I wanted just enough forelight to see her, but wanted the main source to be the "sun" behind her. So all the foreground light is "bounce" light. I could probably still go darker with that, but I wanted more of her details visible.
I would suggest you download Daz Studio from Daz3d. [link] it's free, and a good way to see if you like using this sort of software. Daz Studio and Poser are becoming more and more interchangeble to users, some prefer one over the other, but they both give similar results.
