Description The Boj mountain massif has been for eons a wild land: even the Revrovian Empire in its apex gave up to any plan to bring order. This allow hundreds of ciefdoms, clans and groups to hide and prosper withouth any government.
It was universally consider pointless try to control, so many neighbouring nations were content to trade supplies and goods with metals and gems from the numerous mines and quarries of Boj.
This until the propreties of Rigidium and its presence within the Boj were found.
A metal that, if properly mixed with iron, could provide a bulletproof armor with little work? Suddently a race to conquer the massif began, mostly between Morvatia and Odussia, as were the only ones with enough manpower to attempt such feat. But centuries in relative anarchy doesn't fit with a sudden conquest, and both Morvatia and Odussia began to pay dearly for every load of Rigidium. A dragged conflict ensured, lasting 6 centuries (from the 42° to the 48° century) until both powers recognize the independent nations and pull out their troops.
Meanwhile, this perios saw the rise of the Bajouki (litterally bandits in the local languages): mostly people who suffered from the Morvatian or Odussian conquest or simply outright criminals who seen an easy way to make money by attacking the ever-streched supply lines of the invaders. Armed with watherver they could put their hands on or could botch together, they became a everlasting thorn in the side.
While most of them were simply looking for a quick buck, other became folk heroes, as fighter against the oppressive invaders, such a Zujema Avolostiva, a simple shepard who, in the 44th century, managed to carve her own kingdom by aiding villages, ralling civilians and criminals alike and repelling Morvatian forces.
With the approaching of the Revrovian War, the Bajouki were often employed as mountain irregular troops and explorers by both their former enemies.
