Trough its history, Varian put a lot of effort and resources for local police forces, becoming one of the safest nation in Edenheime. After the Revrovian War, the mighty police force has been enlisted in the army or disbanded. In 5011 all the former policemen were re-enlisted in the new police corp: the Imperial Police Force (Kaiserpoliztruppe) or Kaiserpoliz. The veteran were placed as trainer and supervisors while all the policemen were the new levy, in order to provide training and organization based on experience rather than by some manuals. This create a quite open-minded police, capable to deal with the war-broken society, what the nation was desperately needed.
While the society was recovering, the Black Border (Shwarzborde) was slowly gather power. It was originally a political party intended for the veterans of the Revrovian War to oppose at the reformed govern imposed from the Union by spreading a propaganda of discrimination, violent nationalism and racism (all aganist Union's govern ideas) creating a sentiment of hate against Veredens, Outsiders and, later on, Besists. Due political incompetence and corruption, it quickly become one of the major parties and, in 5039, the Stadtkamere Kontrol (Controller of the parliament, meaning it have the 30% or more of parliament seats). The next year it instituted the Black Guards (Schwarzwachem) enlisting the new levies of the party. This para-police corp formed by army veterans, former unemployed and young followers become infamous for its ferocity against criminals and innocent citizens alike: a criminal have more chances to be found dead in an ally rather than in a prison. Since the Northen part of Halle from 5019, the Black Guards have the duty to "protect" the city, but they often cross the borders and "apply the law" in non-varian districts of Halle.
While the Kaiserpoliz try to maintain some kind of peace ans security, the Black Guards go around and terrorize the people. This situatiom amke their cooperation something alien for both an is not unusual to see them arguing, or even worse.

A - Reindwört MP-15
Its first design is dated in 5015, trough the years it didn't change much. Heavily produced for 30 years, nowadays the Reindwört MP-15 (MekanikalPistole) is the most common sub-machine gun in Revrovia, widely used among all varian forces due its simply mechanics end easy maintenance. Fire 9x20mm rounds in magazine of 25. Possess a useful range of 150m.

B - Police Baton Sache mod-T
Hard rubber baton with crossguard widely used in varian nations.

C - Wahler 16-44
Newest design from the biggest pistol factory in Revrovia, the 16-44 is a complete redesign of the old 16-37, it still use 9x20mm cartridges in a 16-shots magazine, but now the magazine is situated inside the handle rather than in front, making the pistol more balanced and with a better recoil control. Today is the most used handgun among Revrovian law enforcers.

Being composed by volunteers, the Black guard don't have a uniform or a standard equipment, but they usually tend to wear a black jacket with a white belt and the Kufhom beret with the Black Border symbol and carry a handgun and a baton (or whatever blunt weapon they can afford).
The Kaiserpolit, on the other hand, is quite well equipped. They wear a white shirt with a blue tie for the officers, over army-like aketon (Hoffem), of wool during winter and of cotton for the rest of the year. They usual wear the standard police hat, but due the increasing disorder with the Black Guards, they start to wear the army Haubekmann with the police insigna. As common for the police, they carry a handgun, a baton and a rifle or smg (for now, the common one is the Reindwört MP-15).
