"My father, was a drinker, and a fiend. And one night, he goes off crazier than usual. Mommy gets the kitchen knife to defend herself. He doesn't like that. Not. One. Bit. So, me watching, he takes the knife to her, laughing while he does it. He turns to me and says, "Why so serious?" Comes at me with the knife. "WHY SO SERIOUS?" He sticks the blade in my mouth... "Let's put a smile on that face." And... Why so serious?"

It's semester break, so I finally got around to draw again!
I was plenty busy and stressed the last weeks / 2 month and not really in the mood for painting a lot exept doing some tradtionial sketches...So I'm rather happy that the process of this painting was very smooth for me, I worked on it several hours at a time the last 3 days and enjoyed it a lot
It's not perfect but I liked working with different brushes here and am satisfied with most of it.I used some screencaps from the movie as reference.
I hope you are still stuned after about 3 month of silence and enjoy the work

One of the most iconic renditions of the Joker in recent cinema history, he may not have got the laugh right to some people and he may have been more creepy than before but he got it right in his own way. Great show on capturing his evil insanity.
