Description I got a new toothbrush today so that means my old one gets stuck in my inking splatter kit. So I naturally wanted to use it on something, but what?

I got an idea...

I never drew Kirk before. He's a lot of fun. I always liked how he solved problems half with his wits and half with his fists.

ha, i always love how his shirt manages to get torn in every major fight sequence so we can get a dose of kirk's studliness. three cheers for the only man with more stds than james bond.

No one else since Kirk has got in as many fist fights in Trek series. I think the Federation never intended the shirts to take the type of abuse Kirk put them through.

Haha That's exactly what I was thinking! It NEVER tears. It's knitted differently though, so it sort of makes sense.

If you read comics drawn by Arthur Adams he always has the shirts tear in the exact same Star Trek fashion. He says it is probably because he has watched way too much Star Trek.

Star Trek was one of the few things as a kid I watched with my brother, so it has a lot of good childhood memories for me.

Thanks. Even if you don't watch the show, you got to give Kirk props for living the lifestyle of a playa and figuring out how to have the Federation pick up the tab.
