Interesting...just when I was about to upload this, the description for the Fanart subcategory contained a sentence that read:"For example, drawings of a character created by you to be Sonic the Hedgehog's friend or family member belong in this section." Weird.
In any case, those of you who have seen the original sketch in my Scraps gallery [link] , you're cool. This was inked several months AFTER it had been sketched; inking technique graciously Sharinganed from . Now for my complaints:
1) Amy is too high up. Originally the entire image was supposed to be showng them racing downhill, but I guess I didn't render the background correctly.
2) Amy's hair isn't flying wildly like it's supposed to. I forgot to fix that during inking. That, and I almost made a booboo rendering the direction of the smoke trail beneath her feet.
3) The upper storey windows on the brick red building behind Amy are misaligned.
Oh well, I'm done complaining. Enjoy the show.

I really like how dynamic this looks! Great human version of Sonic and Amy! The poses and general feel of the art is "classic" which I really like! It's tough to draw a human version of someone so iconic like Sonic (I tried it myself

Ah, classic like a classic comic or game art from the 90's. It's interesting and I like it! It has a nostalgic kind of feeling, makes me think of the games I played that were from the 90's! (Played them in the 2000's though.)

I LOVE IT The only bad thing I can think of about this pic.....wait...give me just a second..........okay,I came up with absolutely nothing! I love the.expressions on their faces the flames on Sonic's shoes' I also love Amy's boots they're beautiful! Absolutely splendid work!

I absolutely adore the concept of human versions of the Sonic characters, and THANK YOU SO MUCH for NOT assaulting my eyes with yet another disgustingly bishie Sonic like everyone else seems to. Considering the volume of arse the character kicks and how much smackdown he lays, I wouldn't picture him as a girl-boy-thing either.

I agree that your picture looks like the cover of a superhero comic. I enjoy how energetic Amy looks, and to me it either seems like they're playing around, or Amy's about to sneak attack Sonic. So faving this.
