This photo is taken at the mine dumps east of johannesburg. Back in the day when johannesburg was was a mining town, all what they dug up was dumped at various places around johannesburg. So some clever dude started buying all the land where the mine dumps are. He got it at a steal as most ppl thought the land was worthless. He scored in 3 ways:-1. He has a way to refine the sand to extract more gold.
2. After the sand is refined he then sells it as building sand.
3. Once all the sand is gone he has massive land for development.

Fantastic shot, with an unreal feel to it. And the story behind it is just as good. Hope he won't charge you a fistful of Rands for displaying his highly valuable property here at dA. You never know with them businessheads.
