Happy Valentines Day to whomever views this photoThis is one of my cats. Her name is Cookie. She is approximately 9-10 years old. She had fallen very ill a few months ago and was in the vet. hospital for approx 5 days. She had pancreatitis, which caused many other health issues. It was not looking good for a little while. She would not eat for them, so I had to pick her up and bring her home daily in an effort to get her eating, but just for an hour or two. Then take her back for fluids, and meds. Cookie has come back like a champ! I took this photo last week. She is not as heavy as she was, but she is working on it with a wonderful appetite
We seemed to have created a stronger bond during those times all she could do was sleep in my lap. ~ There are few human experiences quite as magical or memorable as being "chosen" by a cat.~

And what a sweet Cookie it is! I want a tuxedo cat for my next kitty. There are some for free on the buy sell trade that will be ready in April but I'm not sure if we'll be ready by then or not.

This looks almost like my last cat. He was black with the same white spots around him, plus a sliver of white on the top of his left lip.

Awww I was touched by reading this description and I want to say that I am so very happy for Cookie in whatever progress she made in getting better and as long as she has your love to keep her going I am sure she is going to make it through.
