This is an oil painting that a friend of mine commissioned. It is 24 by 36 and involves 13 of the Lord of the Rings characters. He wanted it based in Rivendell with Gandalf in the center. Poses were taken from the various movies and adjusted for the painting. A friend posed for Gollum' s pose. The background is partially from the Rivendell set but based primarily off the original concept art.
