Oh boy, this looks cute and delicious. The ice cream shadow inside it is a nice touch was well, it just makes it look more believable.

I have the animation shop version 3.04 which, personally, I've come to dislike. Its good if you want to animate pixels, but for animating pngs and other type of graphics, the output quality usually is bad. I haven't tried ImageRead so don't know which one is better, but I'm going to try it soon anyways, since I'm trying to look for an animator that has good output qualities for pngs.
~ooh, almost forgot to say, I would get both, I use PSP 7 and PS 7 since one can do one thing and the other can do something else. lol
I like how animation shop has some cool filters like the scratch and so on.

Oh! You helped a lot! I have PSP 8 and PS CS3 with ImageReady. I'm going to get Animation shop as soon as possible, though, because, like you said, the effects are nice.
