Seriously. There have to be 1,924,394,275,973,482,937 fattened versions of popular characters in the fanart section. At least if there's a separate category people don't have to be forced to look at fetish art if that's not their thing.
Just a personal opinion. Not trying to change your minds about something you're born liking.

No, no, no and once again no. First of all Forced to look at fetish art? How exactly are people visiting this site compelled to look at Fetish art? I could have sworn they chose to come here, then chose to either click through categories or type something into the search bar. Second what is so special about fattened characters or weight gain art as it is normally called? Why single it out? Why not, for example, age regression, age progression, inflation, breast expansion, shrinking, giants etc? Why single out just fat art? Hell, why not single out Fur art? People leaning on cars art? Cars that talk art? Well okay, in real life being fat is bad for you, in fictional life being a fat bastard is generally no obstacle to media success. Some of the west's most beloved sit com characters are fat fucks as I'm sure I don't need to remind you.
I'm not sure this would prevent people being "forced to look at fetish art" anyway, what about keywords? Searches? If you enter Simpson's or Family Guy or some other TV show you are eventually going to bring up some kind of fetish drawing sooner or later. The same applies to many, many other shows.
In addition, this entire attitude reminds me of the good 'ol homophobic standby, don't ask, don't tell, you can be gay but just don't be openly gay around me. In other words, I have a problem with you and what you like, but I'm too big of a pussy to just come out and say it, I'd rather pretend that you are upsetting me with your own sexuality. That way the other person is the problem not you or your nineteenth century shame/self hatred/guilt based attitudes. If you are a biggot. Let's blame someone else. Yeah, it's their fault, that must be it.
Second I or any other person was not born anything, I was born a screaming infant with no idea what sex or sexuality was. I only learned about it much later as I grew up, I seriously doubt fetishists of any kind are BORN that way or any other way. Whatever Lady sodding GAGA or anyone else has to say about it. Singing something does not make it true. More likely their life and environment along with genetic factors made them "that way". You are more then simply the sum of your DNA, everyone is.
Another interesting aside, if you had a special category for fattened character then a normal drawing of say for example, Homer Simpson would be fine, but if you draw him like he was in "King Size Homer" where he gained weight to get on disability then that'd have to go in a special category. The moral? 239lb man okay, 315lb man, dangerous and eroding our moral fibre while threatening our country and probably lowering house prices.(According to the Daily Mail anyway) Does that seem just a little bit arbitrary to anyone else?
A final point, DA is not concerned with what me, you or anyone else actually likes or is offended by, DA is a business and like any good business they will do what it takes to make money and to stay in business. Presumably from on site advertising and selling T-Shirts or Mugs or something. They aren't here to police morality or sexuality. Some people need to pick up on this. I'm aware that many people are simply trolling, I know all about 4Chan and Encyclopedia Dramatica. It's more worrying when reasonable people start demanding that βsomething must be doneβ about those horrible fetishists. Oh please, pretty please, can't we have a special category, a ghetto if you will, where we can dump all the fetish art so good, god fearing respectable citizens of DA won't have to deal with them? Pleaaaaaase.
Well who knows? Maybe you can, it doesnβt necessarily mean however that you should.
That's all I have to say on the matter. You can agitate for this treatment of fetish art, you may even get it, but you might want to think about the reasons behind it first, the real reasons not the stated ones.
Still if the SOPA/PIPA/ACTA laws pass then it won't matter a damn anyway, the internet will just turn into a download on demand service for big media companies. There certainly won't be a youtube or DA. Perhaps in context then this entire debate about fetish art on DA is rather small beer.

Yes, they should have a fetish subcategory for people to submit to in cartoons. They have a fetish subcategory for photography so I don't see why not for everywhere else.
