O M GFinished, I'm quite happy about this picture but I dont hold much hope for the contest because i feel ive drifted from the origional concept.
Still ive pushed myself with colour, somewhat, failing but trying. Foreshortening, failing but fun to try it you know.
Anyways, I got to be somewhat creative, I had fun.

I also might add that my idea with this is that after the terrible horror we still have hope and as the sunsets it will rise unto a new day

Thank you this is rather olllld now but i put a lot of effort into it at the time, forshortening was new to me and still is Cx so yes! its a apt deviation to feature i think for the title to as DA is a journet, especially what with these stories and the recent anniversary we all celebrated! <3

Thank you <3 Yeah i was pleased with the colouring but some of it was somewhat rushed as i really wanted to get it finished D: and yes its how im looking at it <3 winning would be nice as we all want to win contests we enter but im really happy overall with this picture, i tried new things C:

my usual suspects are ears i always forget to colour the ears :/ also when i was doing this luckily i noticed it early in my colouring i had forgotten her forearm =__= so easy to notice and i was linded to it, also little buttons and shizz i find easy to miss B:
and yes thats a brilliant idea =0 just make sure its a theme/ character that inspires you C:

And the other tiny thing is that the Sun is behind her so she is shaded wrong XP but I do the same thing all the time, myself cause I'mma shade how I effin feel like ROFL!

only critique I have is that the her left arm (on the right of the picture) is stiff and should probably be a little more relaxed, it's probably her hand that makes it look stiff but! I love this picture anyways, I think I might draw a little if I can pry myself away from my game long enough LOL!

Fwee thanks so much for your comments and crits <33 the hand does look stiff D: someone mentioned it looks like it should be resting on something, stiffness is something i really want to tackle in my art, emotion too and i find its a tricky thing to get rid of D: and yes you should i love your arts <333 games definatly are a sucker for time though XD especially FF XD i could easily live in front of my PS3 XD while ive had a week off work ive been playing more which is awesome but been trying to do a bit of gaming, catching up on DA and drawing, i usually tend to stick to one thing, like dedicating a night to DA/Arts or games. <3 im so pleased you like this though i did put a whole lot of effort into it <3
