Utter perfection. I remember seeing the tail on a live-stream of yours... I only ever got to see the tail- I never imagined the rest of it- for some reason I thought you were drawing some sort of tropical fish- I suppose because of the fin ridge things....

WOW! This is totally amazing! You captured the anatomy perfectly and all the details, too! And this is really impressive since the character is very detailed! The head and horns are exactly the way they should be! And the pose is so fitting for this character.

How much would it cost to get a commission like this?

This one was 60usd with the additional cost for complex character added in.
The normal character paintings with very simple bg or gradient bg would be
40usd with current prices, but after I finish the rest of the commissions I have
they will be raised again for the next batch. I still have to figure out those new
prices. so at this point I'm unsure.

Would I have to pay the higher prices if I were to express my interest in a commission now? I have a complex character that I was wanting drawn, but if it's going to be more than 60USD I will have to start saving.
