The sunflowers look rock solid, very snapable. Haha
Almost like when you see pictures of the petrified forest... and I don't mean trees that are frightened
Very very clever

yeah, that was the intention... I wanted them "solid" like a painting or even a sculpture.

thanks a lot

"Brilliant" sums up best what I first thought when I viewed this photo!
Normally I would say that because of their intense color, sunflowers look best if presented in all their colorful glory and not in Black and White, but the choice of monochrome adds a super-classy and timeless touch to this scenery.
Amazing piece...

That’s the idea –in many cases b&w lets you get “into” things more deeply. You can get straight to the concept, you can tell a story or describe a situation catching the very essence of it… all that besides the fact that b&w in my opinion lets you use the light, the contrast, in a much better way –that’s at least my point of view based on what I like to do and the results I like to get.

I appreciated your comment very much, thanks a lot

Wow, this is fantastic! It just brings out a certain feeling of, I don't know, life in death. (if that makes any sense) Haha, sorry. I know that's probably not what you're trying to present here... so ignore me!

Life in death… motion and stillness… it’s about contrasts. Guess you got it thanks a lot. Won’t ignore it at all

This is gorgeous...it almost looks surreal, did you manipulate the photo at all? I like how it feels as if there is motion, but at the same time as a standstill. Nice shot!

Glad you liked it. Actually I… did manipulate the photo quite a bit it’s a personal technique, I’m experimenting -sort of. Anyway you caught the essence of it, motion & stillness…

Thanks a lot ciao
