I'm submitting a lot of sketches that I just know I'll never have time to finish. Heh.So these are a bunch of sketches from my NaNoWriMo 2006 project, which I've been working on since. (When I say since, I of course mean that I worked on it feverishly, got frustrated, and then set it aside for months.) SO MANY PLOT SNARLS.
For all its problems, though, the basic story still excites me. It's about this clone, Specimen 65, who calls himself Nicholas and believes all clones have humanity, despite the fact that they lead a decidedly subpar existence. Nicholas ends up falling in love with an Original (a non-clone) and there is oh-so-much-angst.
Characters (l to r): Professor Rebecca Waya, co-head of the cloning program and general ruthless villain; Nicholas (in DISGUISE!) and his best Original friend who doesn't care that he's a clone, Kai; Nicholas with an angry cat on his head (an actual scene omg)
Bottom (l to r): rough drawing of Will, another clone; Angela Kelian, Nick's love interest. She KILLS ME.
Sketches are a little old, but I like them.

They're cute, but I can't think about Nanowrimo without wincing. I completely forgot it was November this month, or I would be writing something.

Don't worry. I naively tried to do NaNoWriMo this year and promptly failed after three days. No biggie.

I lasted about a week last year. This year I forgot about it because my birthday was coming up. For some reason it's more important this year than it was last year.

Quick question: What in the world is NaNoWriMo? I feel like it's November Novel Writing Month, but then again, maybe not.

That's exactly what it is! It's awesome.
I like Angela up to a point. I basically have to retool her entire character to like her, but I still don't know if she deserves Nicholas. She's such a b sometimes. X(

I remember these guys from somewhere! And Angela somewhat reminds me of another Ange I've run into, though that one doesn't 'kill' her author XD

I'm technically doing NaNoWriMo, but I'm cheating a lot and working on stuff that I've already started. I'm just writing more than usual, basically. XD

haha. well it does make you write i spose... but i have no chance of doing it. since i only figure it out yesterday and leave on the 26th... so like 20 days to write 5,000 words
