this is the second artwork for my final poster. here, the woman character is entering the fantasy world. i wanted it to look Indonesian cos this is a promotional poster for an digital painting exhibition with Indonesian Fantasy as it's theme, so i drew a Candi ( a historical building from Indonesia ) but in much simpler version, cos the real version is very very detailed and i dont have time to make one like that, gosh, early people are crazy, i dont know how they design that buildings. my friend helped me with the pencil sketch of the woman, fairies, and birds ( he's very good with girls )..actually he make the first composition, and i changed them the time it goes to photoshop.ok..hope y'all digs!

Christ, I congratulate you on the best pixelating-effect I ever saw (base of the door).
Maybe you could make a little image-tutorial on how you implemented the blended pixelating, would be much appreciated!

Very conceptional,
I like how the part of the door is pixelated, just like if the door was made from those pixels, just like if reality is in itself is virtual and made of those little pixels.
I like how the woman comes from a door way, which can be seen, leads to no building, like if she opened a gate from another dimension.
I like the extra-ordinary background, and all those inhabitings there, very peaceful but yet gives a sense of mystery and surealism, an add to the atmosphere and feel of the image.

DAMN that's good.
I personally think the portal's better off with out the mosaic effect. The mosaic sorta gives a strong connection to sci-fi for me and it conflicts with the general fantasy theme of the picture. But then maybe that's just me.
