i just bleached bits of a strip of hair in straight lines.
it's fairly self-explanatory.

you submit it to 'deviantART related' -> 'deviantID' and then when you've uploaded it, go to 'edit profile and settings' -> 'userpage display' and it should have a dropdown menu for DA ID there.
i'm not sure if this is 100% accurate because i'm now using the beta page style.
