Here's my entry for a contest by Strays-Adopts featuring a character called Genisis. This was quite an interesting entry, because the contest had a MLP theme and all the characters were ponies, which I wanted to try out at first as well but it turned out to be pretty difficult! Luckily we were also allowed to draw them as humans. I had so much fun designing the human character based on the pony design and I hope she still looks like herself despite some of the changes. The theme with the leaves and the jewelry as well as the color palette were very inspiring. I had intended to make the ears remind of the fact that she's a pony character, but it also gives her a bit of an elf look, which I thought was pretty cute and fit the character! She's a sweet and a romantic girl, and after drawing quite a few 'darker' pieces lately I found drawing her really enjoyable.

No timelapse this time unfortunately! OBS decided to stop working and I didn't really have the time to figure out the problem with it.

I'd estimate it took me about 20 hours to finish, but it's a pretty rough estimation since I didn't record the process. Overall very happy with how it turned out, though!
