Because I love ~Tiretin 's characters so much! I figured Cutlass and Chael would look lovely in a painting together. Not really interacting... just passing like ships in the night.
Cutlass (foreground) belongs to Quamar (~Tiretin )
Chael (background) belongs to me. ^^

Cutlass looks scary with his eye.. o_o But really great picture, it has really... could I say, almost scary atmosphere (or what ever it is, my English sucks XD) which makes the picture alive with its scary and still so lifelike silence.

I've always admired ~Tiretin 's characters. You've done a good job rendering Cutlass.
I like the gloomy and mysterious atmosphere, the fog gives even more of a hint of the whole passing ships concept.

Thanks! I tried very hard to do him justice. And I'm glad the foggy moor background worked well; I wanted that eerie feeling of being at sea to hit the viewer like a freight train. I'm glad it came across.

I got a bit surprised as well, positively, you've improved in art such huge steps in such a short time.
I really love the subtle colors in this, it all blends together and the perspective definitely adds the right feeling to this, both just walking past but still somewhat showing some slight interest/curiosity. : D
