I've never even thought about personifying this feeling before, and now I don't have to, because this is exactly it.
Feeling completely blinded (for me, by tears) and yet knowing, just knowing, that everyone is watching you (especially for social events or speaking assignments/giving a speech) and there's nothing you can do but plow through everything as articulately as possible so you can just go blend into a damn wall as soon as possible. I hate this feeling and I've never even been able to fully explain it to anyone before either, which sucks because my husband is like a social butterfly and really good at public speaking, so he just doesn't get me sometimes....maybe he'll understand this piece a bit better.

I'm doing much better w/ social events since I drew it, but I do tend to occasionally get nervous and feel a bunch of eyes creeping on me.

Wow, that drawing looks pretty creppy, but it also has a very sad atmosphere. The little guy looks really desperate. You did an awesome job on his expression and the idea is also very good.
