That is frick'n awesome! You did the lighting fantastically and the lettering is very fitting (sorry, but the glistening gold reminded me of the spongebob getting a new spatula episode...) I love how they are posed and the moon is just stunning, only critic is that I wish we saw more of the mermaid feel -- but it gives it more mystery so maybe not! Ahh, more I stare at it the more I see -- amazing job!
Great way to star off the New Year, showing your boss skills like that and all

Awww, thank you!! Sorry it took me so long to respond, been busy so I had time to respond to your note earlier but not this! I really, really wanted a mermaids tail, but I just couldn't find a picture that I liked so that is why I just used the headshot. Originally I wanted to do Pirate Avengers but it kinda morphed into Clintasha mermaid/pirate. I was thinking of doing a Scarlet Witch/Vision pirate manip, but I don't know if it would come across weird because of the age difference?

No worry, at some point or another reality makes us come out of our closets to deal with it.
Try Bing, they have a pretty good stock of pics of tails (when I made a banner, what three or four years ago now, that is where I got a tail). I don't think the pair would be weird -- that is a normal canon pairing too. And if you are doing an AU anything goes!! 
Pirate avengers would be awesome!! But what about Dr. Strange? What genre are you gonna throw him into? Just saying

Side, Side note: Was totally watching behind the scenes of The Other Boleyn Girl with Scarlet and Benedict. I could have melted at their adorableness and was so sad at their sad ending in that film

Sort of the story line -- though the footage is a bit too come to think of it...It is set in the reign of Henry V with Anne Boleyn (one of the eight he had beheaded) and shows her and her sister competing to be his mistress (Mary is less willing in the plot though). It's sad because of Mary's story, which I don't want to give away completely but she does lose her first husband (played by Benedict) and such. I sort of like the movie because I feel like they do the time justice and portray it properly, but the story is sad

I sometimes do too, but then I remember that we only get one life to live and that I need to make the most of it so I don't have regrets tomorrow. I get down thinking of things I allowed to happen or things I didn't step up to fix when I was younger and regret now -- don't want to add to that list anymore!! Be weird today, tomorrow is too late!

Yeah, she does mostly romance. I liked her in the early 2000's but I feel like her talent has gone down hill a bit, a bit too one dimensional and not enough color to her characters (she acted the same in the Vow as the Notebook, no depth). I'm personally worried she is going to ruin it for me but I hope not! I will go in with an open mind like you!
