Actually Equestria is hell for horses. It consists of bright colors that hurt their eyes, food that gives them digestive problems, and is loaded with twisted monsters that confuse them. The ponies just don't object because their souls have been so utterly crushed they don't know they're already dead.

Just think of it this way. Part of going through life is learning how to respond to hardship healthily. Just think of brony bashers as a trial by fire. Besides, could be worse. You could have a spin-off movie that looks like High School Musical beaten with an ugly stick.
