Back when I was relatively new to anime and genres, I'd realized most of the anime I'd previously watched were shounen (Naruto, Bleach, Hikaru no Go, etc.), so I wanted to try shoujo anime. I don't regret it, but that's when I learned that shoujo anime isn't quite for me. So thanks, Shugo Chara! (And Fruits Basket, Vampire Knight, Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch, etc....)

I liked the idea of charas/exploring your personality and the characters' outfits, though the pending existential crisis that is Nagihiko hurt me. But I thank Ikuto for helping me fall in love with Yuuichi Nakamura's voice, hnnngh--
