I loved this show as a kid and just rewatched all the episodes for the first time in THREE decades. Talk about a time machine.Β The character and storyline concepts are still freakin' sweet all these years later
Unfortunately, I think one reason the franchise was so short lived is that it was probably too sophisticated for '80s kiddie cartoon fare at the time. And then IDW's revision last year did the series no favors. Sigh.

This cartoon did not get the true props it deserved for the time. It is by far still one of my favorite cartoons ever made. Serious kudos to you for the homage...
