Description ...Yes the big game is just around the corner and "my boys" are looking to add a 6th Lombardi trophy to their case!
This was a quickie sketch I cranked out while on a break at work...
The 33' on the jersey is in reference to the founding of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1933, and you may notice the bundle of Super Bowl trophies in the gunny sack.
You heard it here first;
Steelers 24 - Cardinals 14
"GO STEELERS"!!!!!!!!

**...well it was one HELL of a game I suffered at least two mini strokes while watching the 2nd half! The game was closer than I thought it would be...my boys got a little sloppy in the 4th quarter but in the end prevailed and garnered their 6th Lombardi trophy!
In case you were in a cave or a coma here is the final score of Super Bowl XLIII;
Pittsburgh Steelers-27 Arizona Cardinals-23
...now lets go for #7 next season!

I should imagine that any team with this bloke on it would stand a pretty good chance of winning. Unless it was a synchronised needlework team or something, obv.

-I wish they would show some Rugby matches over here, would be a nice filler while American Football is off season.

I grew up with the team even before they went to their first SB way back in 75" against the Vikings, I was but a wee lad growing up in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, in fact the first football game I ever went to was a Steeler game, later on my dad told me it was Chuck Knoll's first home game opener at 3 Rivers.
I have a lot of favorite players, but perhaps my 2 all time best have got to be Jack Lambert on defense and Rocky Bleier on offense, the "Rock" was a personal favorite cause he was one of the smallest members of the team and he had been through so much what with the war and his devastating injury which almost cost him his career...in my opinion he was the toughest player on the team of the 70's.
My favorites on the present Steelers would have to be Hines Ward, the recently retired Jerome Bettis(we miss you "Bus"), James Farrior, and James Harrison.

I've been a fan of the Steelers ever since "Jefferson Street" Joe was on the roster, so I'm hopefully anticipating another great Super Bowl result tomorrow! As good as this defense is, however, it cannot compare to White, Holmes, Greene, Greenwood, Ham, Lambert, Russell, Blount, Thomas, Wagner, and Edwards!

I myself am a Miami Dolphins fan...but, since my team didn't make it all the way I am gonna be pulling for the Steelers since they are my 2nd team and this stems from back in the day when Bradshaw and Mean Joe were on the team and the Cowboys are my 3rd team and this stems from back in the day when Staubach and Tony Dorsett were on the team...but of course those were the days when I was a little kid...7,8,9 years old

On Superbowl Sunday, I will be pulling hard for the Steelers

Let's see if any of the Steelers' DBs can cover Larry Fitzgerald.

Larry who?....that's what they'll be saying after the game!
