Photo study to improve my portraits
I was kind enough to get corrections on this from Istebrak u v u (check her our!) But unfortunately my corrected copy is not in my sta.sh atm.

ohh so you prefer drawing more stylistic? 
yeah when I draw for fun I'm probably more of a stylistic person too, but since painting realistically my understanding of faces is really improving! ^^ it's a bit daunting at first but looking at some handy youtube video tutorials and speedpaints really helped me get started, as well as starting off in greyscale to improve my understanding of values

but what layer setting did you use to get color on it afterwards?

Yeah, you should give them a go if you're curious!
In photoshop, I use colour and overlay, and then sometimes if I want a bloom effect I use a SAI lumi and shade layer- which, if you just have photoshop, is similar to dodge and burn effect.
