the mind...is a terrible thing to taste. i think that was a quote by some band, but it seemed to fit.the fact that she looks so joyful, but yet is crying, makes it interesting for me. i like disturbing. i would like to think that her face and pose reflect all kinds of different emotions, at the same time, just like the mind does. originally i was thinking that she should look like a vampire after a feast, or a vampire who is about to die as the sun rises. but plans have a tendency to change.

My first impression was maniacal release and it made me think of how I see myself acting out many old Alice in Chains songs.... Her mannerisms and complex emotions (that can easily be all sorts of things depending on interpretation) make me want to reach out and join her. Not commiseration, rather empathizing and rejoicing in finding another that gets what is so difficult to grasp. Thank you, more than you know.
